Rice flour is extremely easy to make and is one of the staples of gluten free baking. It has a neutral flavor and combines very well with other flours. You can use white rice or brown rice.
To make: Fill coffee grinder to maximum level with raw rice. Grind until it is powdery and you do not see any stray grains.
Storage: I prefer storing my rice flour in the freezer to extend its shelf life. I usually store the flour in a labeled freezer bag. It can keep for several months.
